Who we are

Curious Life operates curiouslife.is: a consciousness development practice with living instruments, exercises, a course, and a growing record of your own practice. You can reach us at [email protected].

Not a treatment

Curious Life is a practice, not a medical or psychological treatment. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, or cures any condition, and nothing here replaces professional care. Practices of attention and meditation are demanding: for some people they can be triggering or destabilising, and like meditation itself they carry a real, if uncommon, risk of distress. If you have a history of psychosis, dissociation, severe anxiety, or trauma, speak with a professional before practicing. If distress arises during a practice, stop. You practice at your own discretion and at your own risk.

No guarantees

We take our responsibilities over the practices, the instruments, and your record seriously, and we build everything with care. Even so, we cannot guarantee anything: not particular results, not particular experiences, not uninterrupted availability. Everything here is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

What is ours

Everything we make is ours. The Curious Life name, brand, and marks; the methodology and the way the practices are composed; the course, its modules, texts, and videos; the exercises and living instruments; the software, designs, imagery, and writing; and our trade secrets, are the property of Curious Life. All rights reserved.

A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use what you bought. It does not give you the right to copy, redistribute, resell, record, teach from, or build upon our materials or methodology without our written permission.

Purchases

Prices are in euros and payments are handled by Stripe; card details never touch our servers. Digital content and access are delivered immediately: by purchasing you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal period for digital content ends once access is delivered. If something is wrong with your purchase, write to us and we will make it right where we reasonably can.

Your account and record

Signing in with your email links your practice record across your devices. Keep your email accurate; the record is yours. We may suspend access that abuses the service, the instruments, or other practitioners.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Curious Life is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as Curious Life grows. The date below tells you when they last changed; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Curious Life is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain untouched.
